For the time being, this option is only available for the major European leagues and some lower divisions in England, but it’s an excellent tactic for not getting bored of Career mode too easily.
Select Simulation mode
Before starting the save, go to the Career mode settings and switch on the ‘Simulation’ mode in the ‘Gameplay Type’ option. This feature is new and promises to make matches more paced.
With this option selected, the game automatically changes some of the Career mode sliders in order to create more realistic matches, for example by slowing down the speed of tackles and the precision of passes.
Activate weather conditions
Also in the Career mode settings of EA Sports FC 25, it’s a good idea to enable the weather effects and leave the wind effects on maximum.
Play every match in clear weather? Not at all. Adding light rain, torrential storms and even snow adds an extra layer of immersion, making some periods of the year even more realistic.
Decrease the development rate
To finalise the pre-save settings, check the ‘Slow’ option for both professional and grassroots development rates.
