Have you ever wondered which are the best teams in EA Sports FC 25? Well, while in real life various aspects need to be taken into account, such as financial power, fans and tradition, in the virtual world things are simpler.
That’s because, in Electronic Arts’ football simulator, a team’s score is basically the average rating of all the players in the squad.
But unlike players, who receive a numerical overall, clubs are classified by stars. So the more stars a team has, the stronger it is and the more top players it has in its squad.

It’s true that Tottenham are no longer in their prime, but in the game the English club remains one of the best teams in EA Sports FC 25. With a 4.5 star rating, Spurs have some interesting players in their squad, such as striker Heung-Min Son and midfielder James Maddison.
In terms of signings, the team from the capital has strengthened well, bringing in good calibre players to add to the squad. These include goalscorer Dominic Solanke and promising youngster Archie Gray.
For those who play the Career mode, this is a club without many millionaire investments, but which has a good cash flow to reinforce itself. What’s more, it’s a team that wants to return to the European spotlight.
9) Atlético de Madrid
Atlético de Madrid is another club that has seen more fruitful times, but is still fun to play against. In EA FC 25, the Spanish team’s squad is led by goalkeeper Jan Oblak and striker Antoine Griezmann.
For the current season, the team has been strengthened by two interesting additions who will add an extra layer of entertainment to the matches: Argentinian Julián Alvarez (ex-City) and Englishman Conor Gallagher (ex-Chelsea).
It’s a great club to coach in Career mode, as it’s always a tough task to beat title favourites Barcelona and Real Madrid.
8) Paris Saint-Germain
Paris Saint-Germain is also on the list of the best teams in EA Sports FC 25. The French team no longer has a squad full of stars – and to our delight, this has made the team more interesting.
In Career mode, the budget for signings should remain high, but the challenges will be greater, as the players are now less popular.
And speaking of players, the current leaders of the Paris squad are the excellent goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnaruma, who is still very young, and the Brazilian Marquinhos, who will be joined by the reinforcements João Neves, Désiré Doué and Willian Pacho.
7) Bayer Leverkusen
It’s obvious that the big sensation of the moment would be on the list, right? And with great style, since Bayer Leverkusen now have five star level.
The newly undefeated Bundesliga champions will appeal to many managers in Career mode, as they’re a likeable team with a lot of history.
They also have a squad full of good players, such as defender Piero Hincapié, skilful midfielder Florian Wirtz and killer Victor Boniface.
6) Arsenal
Arsenal are another club on the rise – and that’s why they’re on the list of the best teams in EA Sports FC 25. After all, the Londoners won the Premier League title last season and have a well-organised squad.
In the Ultimate Team, the mission to unseat Manchester City can be an extremely motivating long-term goal. Not to mention the long-awaited Champions League, which the Gunners have never won.
As far as the squad is concerned, Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and William Saliba are the main technical references. They are now joined by new signings Mikel Merino, Riccardo Calafiori and Raheem Sterling.
5) Liverpool

With Marc-André ter Stegen in goal, Pedri in midfield and Robert Lewandowski in charge of the attack, you won’t be short of thrills during the matches.
3) Bayern de Munique
Top of the podium is Bayern Munich – another five-star team in the game. Led by Harry Kane, the Bavarians will have to work hard to regain the crown won by rivals Leverkusen.
It’s rare for the club to be at this level, which makes it an interesting place to play in Career mode. After all, the club came from a long-standing dynasty.
And look at the good news: the German transfer window has been busy. Bayern brought in João Palhinha, Michael Olise and Hiroki Ito.
2) Manchester City
Manchester City, unsurprisingly, is also on the list of the best teams in EA Sports FC 25. The millionaire team has stars in every position and a fat budget for signings.
And speaking of reinforcements, two pieces marked the club’s window: the return of İlkay Gundogan, who has always been an important part of the English squad, and Savinho, the Brazilian winger who promises to develop even further.
