What is Rocket League?

How to play Rocket League

See how to play Rocket League is simple and uncomplicated. You need to control rocket-powered cars in a closed arena and score goals against the opposing team. The game can be played in different modes, including 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4 matches.

Rocket League: events

There are also events in Rocket League, with themed content, challenges and rewards for the game for a limited time. Recently, there was an event in honor of the live-action series Avatar: The Last Airbender. The game also held a tribute event to X-Men 97′.

What’s the objective of Rocket League?

Do you know what the goal of Rocket League is? It’s quite simple: score more goals than the opposing team within the regulation time of a match. The team with the most goals at the end of time wins the game. So you need to control the car, dribble and kick the ball towards the opponent’s goal.

How long does a game of Rocket League last?

A Rocket League match usually lasts five minutes, but if the score is tied at the end of that time, the match goes into overtime, which is an additional time with “sudden death”, where the first team to score a goal wins the match. As such, there is no time limit for overtime: the game continues until a goal is scored.

Rocket League: rules

Psyonix itself has already announced a list of Rocket League rules:

  • Cheating, offending, playing for the other team and exploiting bugs are not allowed.
